A four-star US Air Force general has warned of a conflict with China as early as 2025 – most likely over Taiwan – and urged his commanders to move their units to achieve maximum operational combat readiness this year did.
In an internal memo that first emerged on social media on Friday, and was later confirmed as genuine by the Pentagon, Air Mobility Command chief General Mike Mynahan said the main goal should be “deterrence and, if necessary, Defeat ” China.
Minhan said, “I hope I’m wrong. My gut says we’ll fight in 2025.”
