The doctor said he was 100 percent burnt and had even sustained breathing injuries.
Ali Hussain’s wife Hasna Hena and their 30-year-old daughter Akhi Akhtar, who were injured in the incident, are currently undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU) of the institute.
The blast took place around 7:30 am on Saturday in the kitchen of his residence in Uttarkhan.
According to initial reports, gas leaked from the cylinder caused the explosion, causing serious burns to three members of the family.
