Raza Ali’s fourth Namaz-e-Janaza will be held on Thursday after Zuhr prayers at Nazrul Academy, Trishal, Mymensingh. He will be buried in his family graveyard on the same day after Asr prayers at Dhanikhola in Trishal, after the fifth Namaz-e-Janaza.
As a student, Reza Ali studied Political Science at the University of Dhaka. He was arrested during the student movement of 1962 and remained behind bars for a few years.
He became the Assistant General Secretary of the then East Pakistan Students Union Central Committee, formed through the Provincial Conference in 1963. From the early sixties, he was associated with student and mass movements across the country.
