The sea ports of Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Mongla and Payra have been advised to raise local warning signal four, while ‘very severe cyclone’ Mocha is now headed towards Bangladesh.
The country’s Meteorological Department issued this warning in its latest bulletin on Cyclone Mocha around 3.30 pm on Friday. Earlier in the morning, the department said that the cyclone has changed from ‘severe’ to ‘very severe’.
