According to the BSS report, 55 river stations monitored by the Flood Forecasting and Warning Center (FFWC) have seen a rise in water levels, while a decline has been recorded at 52 stations.
A bulletin issued by FFWC here today said that out of 109 monitored river stations, two have recorded stable and water level at one river station is flowing below the danger level.
The FFWC bulletin states that the Brahmaputra-Jamuna rivers are in a stable condition which may continue to recede in the next 48 hours, as well as the Ganga-Padma rivers are in a stable condition which may recede in the next 48 hours.
