National Citizen Party (NCP) convenor Nahid Islam expressed hope of victory after casting his vote. His party is contesting the elections in alliance with Jamaat-e-Islami.
Nahid cast his vote at AKM Rahmatullah College polling station in Beraid area of the capital today at around 8:00 am on Thursday. Speaking to reporters later, he said, “The alliance of 11 parties has been formed with the aim of forming the government. We believe we are on the verge of forming the government.”
