A mountain of grief fell upon a family after the tragic death of two brothers including the groom in a road accident on the Dhaka-Khulna Highway in Gowalanda Upazila on Wednesday midnight.
The deceased have been identified as 32-year-old Manirul Islam and 27-year-old groom Saiful Islam Sumon, two sons of Mokshed Sardar of Khankhanapur in Sadar upazila.
Police said the accident occurred around 12 a.m. in front of Naboosimuddinpara Government Primary School when a truck loaded with mud hit a motorcycle carrying two siblings, killing Manirul on the spot and injuring Saiful. Done.
