Dhaka City South Awami League organized the meeting to protest against terrorism, extremism, anarchy, evil politics and anti-national terrorist activities of BNP-Jamaat.
Addressing the gathering, Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader said, When I came on the streets today, I could clearly see that the Awami League was ready. Sheikh Hasina’s people were ready. Tonight in Qatar there will be Brazil-Croatia and Argentina-Netherlands games. The game in Bangladesh will be against evil forces, against extremism, misrule and arsonists. The game of evil forces vs Awami League will be played on the political field.
Addressing the BNP, the AL secretary general said, “We have given enough, but no more. If they bring lathis and fire, the game will be against them. The game against those who attacked the police will continue.”
Strongly criticizing the media, Obaidul Kader said, journalist friends, reveal the truth. Some media are in the race to bring BNP to power. Get to know them. They will be answered in due course. When I see some of these media at night and morning, it seems as if there is no other party here.
