Abdur Rehman, 65, lived alone in his village home in Chandanash, Chattogram, while his wife and three sons live in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Yesterday, Monday, his sons could not contact him on phone. In the afternoon, when his younger son’s wife came to check from her parents’ house, she found the door locked. When the door was opened with the help of local people, the mutilated body of Abdur Rahman was lying on the bed.
Abdur Rehman, son of Miya Saudagar of Nagarpara village of Shatabaria union of Chandaish upazila, also lived in Dubai.
