Four people, including a woman and her son, were killed and another injured in separate lightning strikes in Narsingdi on Saturday.
The incident occurred at around 10:00 am in Alokbali village of Sadar upazila and Hajipur area of Shahrtali.
The deceased were identified as Sharifa Begum, 50, wife of Kamal Mia; his son Iqbal Hussain, 12; and Qayyum Mia, 22, son of Karam Ali of Alokbali village; and Moslehuddin, 50, of Hajipur area.
Tanveer Ahmed, in-charge of Narsingdi Sadar Model Police Station, confirmed the matter.
