A woman gave birth to five children at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Thursday morning.
However, one of the newborns died soon after birth, while four other babies are currently admitted in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) of the hospital.
DMCH sources said Mansoora Begum, 22, wife of Mamun Mia of Shibpur upazila of Narsigandi, was admitted to the hospital with labor pains around 8:00 am. She had a normal delivery at around 10 in the morning.
