The committee members visited silk manufacturing enterprises and factories like Lucky Weaving Silk Traders, Usha Silk, Sapura Silk, Modern Silk Mills, Nadeem Silk Industries, Khaja Ahmed Silk Industries and Rajshahi Silk Fashion.

The members after visiting the industries said that not a single child works in the factories. They have visited commercial establishments to see whether any child works there or not and the team members are happy with the situation.

BSCIC Regional Director Rezaul Alam Sarkar said that social responsibility coupled with concerted efforts of all government and non-governmental organizations can be the best way to stop child labor.

Along with building mass-awareness, the owners of factories and industries should come forward and work together to eliminate child labor to protect their rights.
