The World Bank in its latest economic update has said that India’s economic growth will slow down to 6.6% in the next fiscal from the estimated 6.9% in the current year.

“Slowdown in the global economy and growing uncertainty will have an impact on export and investment growth,” the World Bank said.

It added that increased infrastructure spending and “business facilitation measures”, however, would support crowding in private investment and expansion of manufacturing capacity.
