Zakir Talukdar wins Bangla Academy Award for his book ‘Muslim Mangal’
Speaking about Zakir Talukdar returning the award, Bangla Academy director general poet Muhammad Nurul Huda told Prothom Alo, “I have not received (the prize money and medal) yet. ‘I don’t know whether the award can be returned after so many days or not.’
Zakir Talukdar authored more than 24 literary works. Among them, ‘Pitrigan’, ‘Kursinama’, ‘Kabi and Kamini’, ‘Sayabastab’, ‘Rajar Sepai’ etc. are notable.
