Former Chhatra League leader Azad Hussain, who came into limelight by filling 43 ballot papers in 57 seconds, has been taken into custody by the police. He is now in the custody of Chandraganj police station. Family members claimed that some people claiming to be members of the Detective Branch (DB) of the police picked him up on Friday morning.

Confirming his detention, Chandraganj police station in-charge (OC) MD Tahidul Islam told Prothom Alo, “Azad Hussain is now in our custody. Details regarding this will be provided later.”
