Bangladesh women’s football team beats Singapore 8-0 in dominating victory

Rituparna Chakma and Tahura Khatoon scored two goals each, while Sabina Khatoon, Sanjeeda Akhtar, Sumiya Matsushima and Shamsunnahar Jr. scored two goals each. Scored one goal each.

The unchanged Bangladesh team started attacking from the first minute and launched a flurry of attacks.

Bangladesh could have got a goal in the third minute when Monica Chakma fired a long pass past two defenders but Sabina, who was in space in the box, wasted the chance by firing straight at the goalkeeper.

Sabina missed another chance eight minutes later while Singapore attempted a rare counterattack in the 14th minute but goalkeeper Rupana Chakma made a save for the hosts.
