Written test for admission into first year honours course for the session 2010-2011 under ‘Ga’ unit of Faculty of Business Studies of Dhaka University(DU) was held yesterday.
Vice-Chancellor of the university Prof Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique, Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Harun-or-Rashid, Chief Coordinator of Ga-unit admission test Dr. Jamal Uddin Ahmed and senior teachers and officers of the university visited the examination halls, a DU press release said.
A total of 32,868 candidates appeared at the admission test under Ga-unit this year in 2 centres against 930 seats.
There are eight departments under the faculty of business studies under Ga-unit. The departments are management studies, accounting and information systems, marketing, finance, banking, management information systems, international business and tourism and hospitality management.
