Shahjahan Shikdar, officer-in-charge of the Fire Service Media Cell, told Prothom Alo that the fire broke out around 5:00 pm on Thursday.
He said, “We have received information that the fire broke out on the 13th floor of the 14-storey building. However, we are still unsure about the exact floor number,” he said, adding that the building is located in Amtali area.
