Four Assistant Superintendents of Police (ASPs) recruited through the 40th BCS have left their previous jobs and joined the administration cadre in the next BCS.
They are Mohammad Mehedi Hasan Patowari, Mohammad Jhontu Ali, Taswar Tanzamul Haque and Aminul Islam. These four officers were undergoing training as trainees at the Bangladesh Police Academy in Sarada, Rajshahi.
Home Ministry sources said that these four police officers had applied to be relieved from their jobs soon after the final results of 41st BCS were published.
