Meanwhile, a meeting of the Japa parliamentary party was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of Roshan Irshad. The meeting was attended by 26 Members of Parliament including Speaker GM Quader, party General Secretary Mohammad Mujibul Haque, Senior Co-Chairman Anisul Islam Mahmood, Co-Chairman Qazi Firoz Rashid and 18 MPs.
JAPA sources said the recent conflicts within the party were discussed in the two-hour meeting. Unity was called for and also to prepare for the coming elections.

We will contest the coming election independently and asked everyone to prepare accordingly.” Said. According to JAPA sources, Mashiur Rahman may have verbally apologized to the Chairman, but his expulsion order is not being revoked. Along with the party’s decision, there are legal complications involved. Mashiur Rahman was relieved of his primary membership by a decision of the Presidium and MPs in a joint meeting on 8 October. Revoking the order would require a decision of the Presidium.
