Yesterday a case was filed at Bagerhat Model Police Station by a headmistress of a primary
school alleging that she was raped by her ex husband.
They married in 2004, she was sent to father’s house by her husband following strained
relation between them. In 2006 a son was born, she filed a case demanding support for the
child, which is still on court. Few days ago her husband offered to marry her again and took
her to his house. She stayed there for two days, but her husband didn’t marry her moreover
raped her.
The husband Mizanur Rahman left home for Dhaka, in the mean time his father and sisters
forced the victim to left their house.
Her medical was done at the same day.
