According to the UNB report, two siblings were killed when their house collapsed due to a landslide in Chakaria Upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Monday.

Among the dead were the children of 1-year-old Moshammat Tabassum and 5-year-old Mohammad Sabid of Nazim Uddin of Sabujpara area of ​​Boroitola union of the upazila.

Inspector Kaiser Hamid of Harbang Police Station said that Nazim Uddin’s house is at the foot of the hill. He was living there with his wife and children.

Nazim Uddin and his wife were working outside the house on Monday afternoon.

The incident took place when a huge chunk of soil from an adjacent hill fell on the house at around 4.30 pm, killing their two children on the spot, the inspector said.
