A beautiful male newborn is found in a dustbin of Noorjahan road of Mohammadpur in the capital. It was in the morning; suddenly people walking through the street noticed screaming of a newborn wrapped with a cotton wrapper. That newborn is only two to three days old and suffering from severe malnutrition. It is believed that someone has left the newborn at night, may be trying to avoid the responsibility.
Some people gathered there to see the newborn, among them a tailor couple Mizanur Rahman and Mim Akter took the newborn to Mohammadpur police station. They expressed their interest to adopt the newborn.
Body of the newborn was so cold and trembling. The tailor couple took the newborn to Dhaka Medical College Hospital under supervision of police. That newborn is now kept in incubator and doctors said as the newborn is suffering from malnutrition they are trying to bring it in stable state as early as possible. Then police will take the newborn to victim support centre at Tejgaon. If no guardians are found, the newborn will be handed over to the tailor couple following due legal procedure.
