A man who fired with a semiautomatic rifle inside a Target Corp. store in Omaha was shot by police Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
The Omaha Police Department said in a statement that the investigation determined that the suspect fired multiple shots inside the store and was in possession of an AR-15 rifle and thirteen loaded rifle magazines.
Responding officers shot the armed suspect, who was later pronounced dead by the Omaha Fire Department, officials said, adding that no victims were found in the store or transported to local hospitals.
Police said the investigation is on.
