Prince Harry’s memoir “Spare” has become the UK’s fastest-selling non-fiction book ever, the book’s publisher said on Tuesday, with 400,000 copies sold across hardback, ebook and audio formats.
“We always knew this book would blow up but it has exceeded even our wildest expectations,” Larry Finlay, managing director of Transworld Penguin Random House, said in a statement.
“As far as we know, the only books to sell more on their first day are those starring other Harrys (Potters).”
The publisher stated that it was based on British sales.
