The investigation was launched in June after several women claimed on social media that they had been drugged and admitted to engaging in sexual activity with Lindemann, 60, at Rammstein after-show parties.
Lindemann denied the allegations, with his lawyers describing them as “untrue without exception”.
Berlin-based law firm Schurtz Bergmann welcomed the closure of the investigation, saying “it proved that the very serious allegations against our client in social media and the press had no basis”.
