Seven female hijackers arrested at port city Chittagong

Chittagong Metropolitan Police have arrested seven female hijackers aged from 20 to 40 years. Actually, it was a gang of seven women who used to hijack from lone women walking in the city.

Police said, after the vaccination of her two and half-month-old child, a woman was coming back to her home from the AndarKilla area of the city. This hijacking gang of seven women cordoned her and grabbed all of her belongings.

The arrested women are Papia (40), Rima Akter (25), Ruma Akter (20), Rohida Begum (25), Bobita Begum (35), Bilkiss Begum (25), and Shathi Akter Shanta (28). Kotwali Thana officer in charge Mohammad Mohsin said, one hearing screaming of the victim, patrol police rushed there and captured those seven female hijackers. On initial interrogation, all seven of them admitted that they have been doing this type of criminal activity as a team and targeting lone women on street.

Police have recovered hijacked bag and money from the hijacker gang.
