Swift, 33, completed the North American leg of her global tour with four shows in Mexico, and will return to Argentina in November with plans to tour in late 2024.
With a total of 146 stadium dates, it is expected that she will set the record for the first billion-dollar tour, with trade publication Pollstar estimating that she will be selling tickets worth approximately US$14 million per show.
Swift’s team does not report box office numbers. The current record holder is Elton John, whose “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour, which began in 2018, ultimately earned US$939 million.
