Residents of Panchgarh are shivering in the mid-winter cold as the mercury dropped to 6.1 degrees Celsius in Tetulia, the lowest this season.
Light to moderate cold wave conditions continued in Rangpur, Nagaon and Maulvibazar, while conditions improved in other parts of Bangladesh on Saturday.
The previous minimum temperature of this season was recorded at Chuadanga on Thursday at 6.3 degrees Celsius.
Dhaka’s temperature dropped to 14.7 degrees Celsius on Saturday.
Light to moderate cold wave has been going on in the northernmost district of Panchgarh for the last 10 days.
