Minister of State for Women and Child Affairs Simin Hussain was the chief guest. In her speech, she shared the story of a successful girl and how family support can change the lives of children.
He also emphasized communication between children and parents and the role of family support, especially fathers, in raising children to be responsible and successful. He supported UNICEF’s desire to scale up child protection programs in 64 districts of Bangladesh.
Norway’s Ambassador to Bangladesh Espen Richter-Svendsen was the special guest at the inaugural session and said that Norway considers child protection as a top priority and it is a fundamental aspect of their mental development.
