US Ambassador Peter Haas held a meeting with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s Special Envoy for Environment and Climate Change Sabar Hussain Chaudhary for about one and a half hours.
Peter Haas went to the residence of MP Sabar Hussain Chaudhary in Paribag on Monday afternoon.
Speaking to Prothom Alo after the meeting, Sabar Hossain Chowdhury said Bangladesh has an extended meeting with the US.
He said discussions were held to deepen and enrich the partnership in addressing the challenges of climate change.
