Malaysia has long been praised for its spectacular economic growth and the country has recently been in the spotlight for the development of its education sector. The Southeast Asian country has become a top destination for foreign students in the region. The opening of the Malaysian university campus has come as a great opportunity for Bangladeshi students. USCI has opened its Bangladesh campus in the posh Banani area of Dhaka city.
University officials said there are 24 departments offering undergraduate and postgraduate studies. Officials are trying to align the curriculum with the government’s Smart Bangladesh vision. The university offers various programs including Business Studies, Management, Architecture, Computer Science, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Engineering, Mass Communication, Psychology and Fashion Design. Officials at the university’s Bangladesh campus said experienced foreign teachers are also joining the academic activities.
