Cumilla City Corporation has 242,458 voters and Mymensingh City Corporation has 336,496 voters. A total of 146 candidates are contesting for councilor posts and 69 candidates are contesting for reserved councilor posts.
However, voting is also underway on Saturday for elections and by-elections at various levels of local government at a total of 231 locations across the country, including Cumilla and Mymensingh city corporations.
