Obaidul Quader said this while speaking as the chief guest at the “Peace and Development Rally” at Aminbazar Truck Terminal in Savar on the outskirts of the capital city in the afternoon.
Dhaka District Awami League organized the rally which was attended by leaders and workers of seven upazilas including Dhamrai, Sawar, Dohar, Nababganj and Keraniganj. This was said from the stage.
AL Presidium members, joint secretaries, organizing secretaries and leaders of district and upazila units spoke at the rally. All of them were focused on the next parliamentary elections and the one-point movement of the opposition Bangladesh Nationalist Party.
Saying ‘the game has started’, the leaders announced to keep the ground under their control till the elections.
