Delhi says they want stability in Bangladesh. They are supporting this election without the participation of most of the opposition parties including BNP. This means that democracy is still immature for them. Like the Indian ruling party BJP and the central government, all the opinions written by their intellectuals and journalists are nothing but a repetition of their state’s viewpoint and policies,” he said.
Rizvi further said, “Does Delhi want another Lendup Dorji in Bangladesh also? It is a question for the Bangladeshi people whether India wants bilateral relations with an anti-people vote-robbing party? Instead of a relationship with the people here.”
However, Bangladeshi people want Delhi to behave like an honest neighbor and change its stance from stifling the right to vote.
