If someone wants money or something from you claiming, they are from detective branch of police; you have a good reason to suspect them.
Seven fake detective police (DB) was arrested from Abdullahpur junction yesterday. Dhaka Metropolitan Police detective branch arrested them by a special operation.
These fake deceives were involved in hijacking in banks, financial institutions and shopping malls. They were using a micro bus, wireless like police, handcuff, stick and firearm.
They used to abduct people carrying money and ornaments. Then they dropped them after taking the valuables and chloroforming them.
Police arrested Titu Miyan, Maruf Hossain, Gazi Helaluddin, Abu Bakkar Siddique, Ripon Miyan, Abdul Barek and Moqbul Dhali. Police also seized the micro bus, wireless set, handcuff etc from their possession. Police have taken them to their remand for interrogation.
