‘Haseena: A Daughter’s Tale’ has been screened and appreciated at several international film festivals. Seeing the demand of the audience, the docudrama was later released on television as well. After which it is now being released on the OTT platform Chorki.
Reflecting on the thought behind the making of the docudrama, its director Piplu R Khan said, “The docudrama throws light on various aspects of Sheikh Hasina’s personal, family and political life, from her struggle for survival, to her kitchen Including serving as head. of the State.”
“The life of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as well as her younger sister Sheikh Rehana is also shown in this docudrama. I have only tried to present the truth on screen through this docudrama,” he added.
