A joint meeting of district level officers and leaders of socio-cultural and political organizations and professional groups and heads of educational institutions was held in the conference room of DC office here on Thursday.
Netrakona district administration organized the meeting to chalk out an elaborate programme to celebrate the Victory Day on December 16.
Presided over by officiating deputy commissioner Netrakona Anwar Hussain Chowdhury, the meeting was addressed, among others, by additional deputy commissioner (revenue) Netrakona Ruhul Amin, mayor of Netrakona Pourasabha Nazrul Islam Khan, commander of Netrakona district Muktijoddha Sangsad Mohammad Nurul Amin, war- wounded freedom fighter Osman Gani Talukder, office secretary of Netrakona district Awami League Mazharul Islam and president of Netrakona district Udici Shilpi Gosthi Sanwar Hussain Bhuiyan.
