The delegation will visit Yemen, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Qatar and, if required, the United Arab Emirates, as mandated by the ministry’s UN desk. He was likely to start the yatra between January 15 and 30.
Foreign Minister AK Abdul Momen told Prothom Alo on January 12 that the delegation would hold talks with officials at various levels there to be apprised of the latest developments.
“We do not know who actually kidnapped him (Sufiul). No one can figure it out. We have left no stone unturned. The UN is also trying hard. So we are sending a delegation now,” said the minister.
