When contacted, OC Bakhtiyar Uddin Chaudhary said they were yet to identify the killers. Also, he was not aware whether the deceased was a polling agent in the recent national elections or not.
The police have already started investigating the murder. He said that legal action will be taken as per the family’s complaint.
Morshed Alam of Boat symbol won this seat with 56,186 votes, while Ataur Rehman Bhuiyan got 52,863 votes.
