Awami League’s decision: Restructuring of BNP has failed

Awami League is planning to start selling nomination forms for its interested members after the Election Commission (EC) announced the election schedule. Party sources have revealed that the two teams are collaborating to leverage the administration and plan campaign strategies for the upcoming elections.

A committee headed by Abul Kalam Azad, former Principal Secretary in the Prime Minister’s Office, is looking after the administrative matters. Apart from this, two former secretaries of the Election Commission are also part of this committee.

Additionally, a team led by former Cabinet Secretary Kabir bin Anwar is working across the country to manage digital campaigns, counter anti-government propaganda and highlight the government’s development initiatives. They are taking the initiative to form a group of 600,000 individuals across the country for this purpose.

Awami League is actively preparing for the upcoming elections at the grassroots level. For example, anti-blockade marches are increasingly incorporating voting-related slogans, and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is actively seeking votes during her rallies.
