Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Awami League International Affairs Secretary Shammi Ahmed said that various issues including Bangladesh’s foreign policy were discussed.
Shammi said, the political crisis in the subcontinent is spreading on the world stage and what is the role of Bangladesh in this and what is the Awami League thinking about it, these issues were discussed during the meeting.
He also said that he wanted to know how the Awami League’s relations are with India and China. Shammi said, he also wanted to know the government’s relations with the countries of the subcontinent.
He said, “The Father of the Nation has given the principle of Bangladesh’s foreign policy that friendship to all, hatred to none and this has been emphasized during the meeting.”
