Death toll in Padma speedboat capsize rises to three

According to the UNB report, the bodies of two people who went missing after two speedboats collided in the Padma river on February 5 were recovered from the river about 55 hours after the incident.

With the bodies, the death toll in the collision has risen to three while 3 others are still missing.

The deceased – Daud Mridha, 46, and Rana Khandkar, 23, were residents of Govindarapur area under Sadar upazila of the district and Teledhanga area under Charbhadrasan upazila of the same district.
