Mohammad Shamim Hussain, a deputy secretary to the government, has been sacked on charges of ‘misconduct and desertion’.
He was the first secretary at the Consulate General of Bangladesh in New York. He was ordered to return to Bangladesh and join the office. But he did not obey the order.
