Dhaka international trade fair with online shopping facility started

DN-fairMonth long Dhaka international trade fair is started form 1st January. This year’s fair have ninety pavilions, forty two mini pavilions and three hundred and sixty two stalls.

Thirty one organizations from twelve countries of three continents are participating at this year’s fair. Participating countries are Japan, Iran, China, Hong Kong, India, South Korea, Pakistan, Thailand, United States, United Arab Emirates, Singapore and Turkey.

Authority has taken various steps to ensure security; one hundred close circuit cameras will be used to monitor fair premises, parking place and entrance.

Entry ticket for adults will cost twenty taka and it will be ten taka for tender aged.

E-shopping facility is also available. Anyone may visit www.ditfeshop.com the site, where list of participating organizations, their products and price is sown. People can order for their product using credit cards and quick cash cards.

A fund is allotted by the government to build permanent structure for fair. But commerce ministry wants at least twenty acres of land; unfortunately they have only ten acres of land. Commerce minister has said that government may build the structure on ten acre, if more land is not available.
