Manzoor Ahmed, Emeritus Professor of BRAC University, believes that some people in the country still have a negative attitude towards girls’ education.
He said that this has to be controlled with a tough approach. He expressed apprehension that the crisis will continue if measures are not taken to meet the learning deficit of students during the Covid pandemic.
The activities of Malala Fund in Bangladesh were outlined by Musharraf Tansen, Country Director of the organization. Apart from this, teacher’s union leader Qazi Farooq Ahmed, deputy director of the camp KM Enamul Haque also spoke on the occasion.
