International gold price has dropped a little. To adjust that gold price in the local market has been re-fixed by Bangladesh jewelers Society.
According to new price 22 carat gold sells at Taka 59 thousand and 486 per 11.664gm which was Taka 60 thousand and 652 on Saturday. The price of 21 carat gold is Taka 56 thousand and 803 which was Taka 57 thousand 970. the price of 18 carat gold is Taka 48 thousand and 697 which was Taka 49 thousand and 688.
Old and so called SANATON gold sells at Taka 36 thousand and 858 which was Taka 37 thousand and 558. On the other hand 21 carat silver sells at Taka 1 thousand 574.
Customers will have to add making charge and VAT to purchase gold ornaments
