The woman was only of 22, she married Abdul Aziz (38) in last February after love affairs of some months. After three days of marriage she came to know that her husband is married before which shocked her, after heated altercation Abdul Aziz left Sripur and came to Madaripur.
Last Friday Abdul Aziz came back to Sripur and convinced her to come to Madaripur, He said he is taking her (the woman) to his sister’s house in Madaripur. But in fact he sold her in a brothel for ten thousand taka, though he received only 700 taka from the chieftain.
The woman understood the fact on the next day, she cried for the whole night, on the next day the chieftain and others took her photographs and tried to take her sign on an affidavit that she has willingly chosen for prostitution. They also beat her to get the signature. Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) rescued her at the end and arrested Abdul Aziz.
Abdul Aziz admitted that he did a crime.
