Qazi Ravankul Islam Sarbon, the central president of Jatiyavadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), has been relieved of his duties citing physical illness.
Senior vice-president Rashid Iqbal Khan will now serve as the acting president of the student front of the real opposition, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, until further decision.
