According to the UNB report, a youth was killed and three injured in a collision between two trucks at Prajhipur in Chirirbandar, Dinajpur in the early hours of Thursday.
The deceased has been identified as 18-year-old Russell, assistant to the truck driver, and son of Kumrul Islam of Nagaon district.
Chirirbandar police station in-charge Bonmali Roy said the accident occurred around 5 am when a truck carrying paddy going to Naugaon collided head-on with another truck coming from the opposite direction, killing one on the spot. Three others injured.
The injured were taken to the local hospital. The identity of the injured could not be immediately confirmed.
